| A Langdale Horseshoe. From (New) Dungeon Ghyll, up Jack's Rake to Pavey Ark, Thunacar Knott, Harrison Stickle, Loft Crag, Pike of Stickle, Rosset Pike, a quick out and back to Esk Pike, Bow Fell, Crinkle Crags, Cold Pike and Pike of Blisco. A great circular route on a beautiful clear blue-sky day. 17 miles, 7000ft (as walked). On the GPX track ignore the bimble at the top of Jack's Rake - had to back track a little as I'd forgotten to "bag" Pavey Ark. |
