| The Dodds and Helvellyn Traverse. There is a suprisingly good path up from Hill Top Farm to Clough Head. A little "roller coaster" walking around Grisedale Tarn adding significantly to the ascent profile. Great views on the desent via Stone Arthur across to Helm Crag and beyond where I'd been walking earlier in the week. The weather was very blustery throughout the day. 16 miles, 6000 ft. |
